GAME PLAY

Primer is a 3D first person shooter. Using the touch-screen and gyroscope to steer you navigate the terrain to find your opponents.

Drive around on the hunt or hold a good position to snipe from.
Always be aware of your surroundings. If you have a good angle, there is also an angle on you.

PRIVACY

No user data is collected or stored.
User name (avatar nickname) is displayed in-game and stored only on your device, it is not stored anywhere else and is anonymous.
On game start the server logs the game-method (peer-to-peer or server relay), but anonymously with no user data.
No data is shared with any third party.

SUPPORT

Primer is an online multiplayer game. You must be connected to the internet to play.

If you experience low performance or high battery-consumption, try a quality setting at "Low" or "Very Low". This will reduce rendering load and run the app at 30 fps instead of 60 fps.
MOVEMENT

VR style
With VR style you point the device in the direction you wish to look and move/fire with the touch screen.

Controller style
Controller style is for more relaxed gameplay, steering with the touch-screen only.

Open settings in the app and see what works best for you.
ADVANCED

The game tries to connect all players directly to each other (peer-to-peer) for optimal performance.
To find other players, the server uses port 9003.
As the host, these ports are tried in order: 9006, 8080, 8081, 8082 first successful port is used.
You may want to open/forward these ports to the hosting device.
